Using free and accessible editing tools, students will explore the complete post-production process and learn how to create polished short-form videos that effectively communicate their research, fieldwork, or summer experiences.

This online workshop builds on the concepts introduced in the Video Storytelling (Pre-Production and Production) workshop from July and focuses on transforming raw footage into a compelling story. Participants will learn the fundamentals of video editing, from organizing clips and building a narrative to adding music, text, and visual elements that enhance audience engagement.
Using free and accessible editing tools, students will explore the complete post-production process and learn how to create polished short-form videos that effectively communicate their research, fieldwork, or summer experiences.
