This year’s event highlights global perspectives on rural and remote education and sustainability research and provides opportunities for discussions between educators, school and system leaders, community members and researchers.
Hosted virtually and in person on March 27 & 28, program highlights include a keynote address by Dr. Maureen Reed (PhD), USask professor and UNESCO Co-Chair in Biocultural Diversity, Sustainability, Reconciliation and Renewal, and an Indigenous Elder, educator and student panel on land-based education in Northern Saskatchewan. Hosted annually by the Saskatchewan Educational Leadership Unit in the College of Education, this year’s sponsors include the USask International Office/People Around the World 2022.
