The images, captured by trail cameras at Wapusk National Park and the Churchill Northern Studies Centre in northern Manitoba, show the diversity of wildlife, allowing researchers to learn about polar bear behaviour- and other wildlife- in a non-invasive way. This project was the first to document all three of Canada's bear species (polar, black, and grizzly bears) and helps northern wildlife managers understand conflicts between polar bears and people in a warming climate.
