Conferences provide local, national and international opportunities for students to contribute to their field of research, inspire others, and forge important networks across disciplines.

2nd World Congress on Undergraduate Research 

Are you an undergraduate student eager to share and discuss your research results with peers as well as faculty from around the world? Are you interested in working together on global issues? Present your research at the 2nd World Congress on Undergraduate Research, an interdisciplinary congress clustered around six major research themes addressing some of the most significant challenges the global community is facing today. Deadline to apply is October 16, 2018. The conference will be in Germany from May 23-25, 2019

The British Conference of Undergraduate Research

Undergraduates of all levels are invited to submit papers, posters, workshops and performances to the Conference. Abstracts are peer-reviewed and those accepted will be invited to attend the conference. The conference will be held at the Treforest Campus of the University of South Wales from April 15-16, 2019. The deadline for abstract submissions is December 20, 2018.

Philosophy, History, and Politics Undergraduate Conference

This conference for undergraduate students is held at Thompson Rivers University from January 17-19, 2019. All students are welcome to submit applications with topics touching on philosophy, history, and politics. Deadline to submit your abstract is November 23, 2018.

CCWESTT 2018 Conference

The Canadian Coalition of Women in Engineering, Science, Trades and Technology (CCWESTT) hosts an annual two-day national conference to bring together women from across SETT disciplines and sectors to discuss diversity and inclusion. This year, the conference’s theme is “Learn, Grow, Act” and will be held in Edmonton, AB from May 31 to June 2, 2018.

Connecting Minds Undergraduate Research Conference in Psychology

This annual conference is hosted by Kwantlen Polytechnic University for undergraduate researchers psychology. This year it will be held from May 18-19, 2018 and the keynote speaker is Adele Diamond, Tier 1 Canada Research Chair and Professor of Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience at UBC. 

Foothills Colloquium

This annual conference for undergraduate history students is held in the spring at Mount Royal University, Calgary and is open to students from across the country.
